Late-Night Safety For Study Week

Study Week is here but don't stress about studying late at the library, or staying to speak with a professor after an evening class. UNLV Police Services reminds the campus community to take advantage of the programs offered to help keep you safe, especially in the evenings and on weekends.

  • Police Services' student security program provides security escort services for individuals to any campus area during the evening hours. Contact 702-895-3668 for further details. You also can request a security escort directly from the RebelSAFE app. To download the free app, visit iTunes or the Google Play Store.
  • Pre-program the number for University Police in your cell phone for use in an emergency: (702) 895-3669. Pre-programming your phone will expedite your call.
  • Police Services provides and monitors a network of emergency call boxes, throughout campus, illuminated with blue lights. Calls from these boxes directly connect you to UNLV police dispatch.
  • If you need a vehicle jump start, Police Services assists with this service when the parking & transportation services’ office is closed. Contact police dispatch after hours at 702-895-3668, for motorist assistance.
