Last Call for Photos for the Classified Staff 2022 Desk Calendar Contest

Time is running out, so get those photos in.

The Classified Staff Council is happy to announce that we will join efforts with Integrated Graphic Services to produce a 2022 desk calendar. Here is where we need the help and creativity of our talented classified staff. All of the pictures in the calendar will be photos submitted by you!

The contest theme is: What is your “hidden treasure” place on campus? Is there a special place on campus that you go to, to just get away? Your “zen zone”? Capture that place on film and show off your photography skills.

  • All classified staff members are eligible (groups of classified staff are acceptable).

  • Photos must be horizontal or “landscape.” Vertical photos will not be considered.

  • Use highest .jpg quality for best results.

  • Please have your submission cropped to how you would like it seen on the calendar.

  • Color or black-and-white photos are acceptable.

  • Do not add watermarks, dates or logos to photographs.

  • One entry per staff member or group

  • No pictures with Hey Reb.

  • No pictures with people’s faces.

  • Nothing offensive, vulgar or distasteful photos.

Submissions should be sent to with “Photo Contest Submission” in the subject line. Please also include the attached Submission release form. All entries must indicate the name of staff member(s), title(s), and department(s).

Judging will take place within a few weeks following the submission deadline. Members of the Classified Staff Council Executive Committee will judge the photographs and choose 13 winners — one for each month and one for the calendar cover.

Photographers will be asked to agree to a photo release before their entry can be submitted. All images must be released for reproduction in the calendar and possible future publications. Photographers maintain personal rights to their photograph; the Classified Staff Council is not licensed to release the image to a third party. A model release form is not required.

This calendar photo contest is meant to be a fun way to show off the many photographic and creative talents of our classified staff. Vulgar, offensive or distasteful submissions will not be considered.

The deadline is at 5 p.m. Oct. 15.
