Join the University Libraries at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 9 in the Pioche Room at Lied Library for "An Introduction to Hip-Hop Sampling in FL Studio 20," an introductory workshop on music sampling. David Ramos Candelas, multimedia and design specialist, will lead a demonstration to highlight different approaches to sampling using FL Studio 20, a software available in Lied Library's multimedia studios.
The workshop will help you learn how sampling applies to hip-hop music, how to manipulate sounds from other songs to create your own using FL Studio 20, and about Libraries multimedia resources to support music/podcasting/video production.
