On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration and extermination camp, Monday January 27, 2025, is the 19th annual UN-designated International Holocaust Remembrance Day.
UNLV is proud to host an event that day, honoring victims, survivors and resisters of the Holocaust and of other genocides, and a discussion exploring the UN-designated theme for 2025 of “Remembrance and education for dignity and human rights.”
