Healing Through Connections: Roots of Healing March 5

Join us for Roots of Healing, a hands-on event hosted by the Care Center, open to UNLV students, staff, faculty, and the public! Experience a plant care workshop and creative activities that nurture the mind and body.

Date: Wednesday, March 5th

Time: Noon- 2 p.m.

Location: Xeric Garden (Barrick Museum patio/garden)

Attendees can participate in three different stations: a plant care workshop (RSVP required, limited seating), writing personal goals on plant tags, and art stations for painting terracotta pots. Take home a free plant!

This event provides a safe space with support from the Barrick Museum, LV Plant Collective (host of workshop), and Rebel Roots.

RSVP is only needed for the plant workshop — feel free to explore the other stations! For questions about the event, contact carecenter@unlv.edu.
