COVID-19 Boosters and Third Doses Now Available on Campus

UNLV students, as well as faculty, staff and their dependents who are 12 years and older can make appointments for COVID-19 vaccinations at the Student Health Center and Faculty and Staff Treatment Center. The Student Wellness Center is located on the UNLV campus on the first floor of the Student Recreation and Wellness Center.  Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson and Johnson are available, while supplies last.

COVID-19 Booster Shots: Booster doses are available to those who previously received the Pfizer primary vaccine series and meet eligibility requirements.

Additional Doses for those who are immunocompromised: Third doses of Pfizer and Moderna are available for those who are moderately or severely immunocompromised and meet eligibility requirements.These doses are not considered booster shots but are to assist in the immune response to the vaccine for those who are immunocompromised.

There is no cost for COVID-19 vaccination, including third doses and boosters. To make an appointment, students may call the Student Health Center at 702-895-3370, and faculty, staff and dependents may call the FAST Center at (702) 895-0630.

Please bring your Rebel Card or another picture ID.  If you have received one or more previous doses of COVID-19 vaccine, you must bring your vaccination card or record with you.

Upcoming Walk-In Hours

COVID-19 vaccinations, including boosters for those who meet eligibility requirements, are offered by the Student Health Center/FAST Center on a walk-in basis for students, faculty and staff on the following days.  No appointment is necessary.

  • Oct. 12: 1:30 p.m.-4:30 p.m., Student Wellness Center
  • Oct. 19: 9 a.m.-noon, Student Wellness Center
  • Oct. 20: 5 p.m.-10 p.m., Homecoming Festival, Academic Mall
  • Oct. 27: 9 a.m.noon, Student Wellness Center
