Classified Staff Council Open Forum with the Ombuds Office

The Classified Staff Council would like to invite you to attend the next open forum meet and greet via Zoom with the ombuds office from 2:30-4:30 p.m. Nov. 30.

UNLV’s ombuds office is intended to educate campus employees facing conflict about their rights and options, and to establish and maintain an effective conflict resolution system in which all members of the university community are treated in a respectful, dignified, equitable, and just manner. In addition, the ombuds will make recommendations to leadership for how to best address and resolve systemic issues, and can help the university identify trends or patterns that affect campus climate. The ombuds can advocate for change when appropriate without disclosing communications with individuals who seek assistance from the office.
