A new partnership between UNLV and UNR Cooperative Extension invites proposals for applied research, projects, and collaborations to address Clark County issues.
Deadline to submit via the proposal submission form is 5 p.m., Monday, December 5.
All proposals will be considered and reviewed by leadership from both universities. Leading proposals will be funded with up to $2 million from Extension. The grants are aimed at bringing experts and resources from both universities closer together in support of Clark County.
Looking for grant funding in urban agriculture, natural resources and climate? Attend a roundtable discussion from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, November 29 in the Lied Library Goldfield Room to hear about UNLV and UNR research. Then consider how their expertise intersects with yours to explore forming a new partnership. The roundtable will address current work related to food insecurity, food safety, food systems, urban agriculture, drought, fire, sustainability, and conservation.
