Call for Proposals for the Best Teaching Practices Expo

Faculty are invited to submit a poster proposal on a teaching strategy that works effectively with UNLV students by Nov. 8.

A selection committee will evaluate proposals according to these criteria:

  • The teaching practice and the need it addresses
  • Evidence this practice benefits UNLV students
  • Resources and where to find them
  • How other UNLV instructors might adopt this practice.

Special consideration will be given to proposals that are specific to teaching online/remotely.

To view posters from past Best Teaching Practices Expos, check out the Best Teaching Practices Collection on UNLV Digital Scholarship.  For tips on your proposal, please review “Creating a Poster for the Best Teaching Practices Expo.”

The poster session will be held Jan. 24, followed by featured panelists on Feb. 10.
