The Office of Faculty Affairs is currently accepting nominations for the 2026 Distinguished Professor Award. Complete applications are invited through Friday, Feb. 20, 2026. 

Established in 1986, the UNLV Distinguished Professor Award recognizes faculty members who have achieved national and international distinction. The awardee(s) will receive an increase of $5,000 to their base salary. Nominees must have completed five years of full-time service at UNLV in the rank of full professor and must have tenure.
