Congratulations to Nancy Weaver for receiving the Administrative Faculty of the Month Award for April 2023. Weaver is communications director for the College of Education.
The nominator wrote:
“Nancy Weaver provided exceptional support for the UNLV collaboration with the 2023 Nevada Science Olympiad event. Well over 100 people contributed to this effort, but Nancy directed the virtual award ceremonies, created a promotional video for the Office of Undergraduate Research, and highlighted the graduate students and faculty participants in a separate reel. She worked until midnight on a Saturday to complete the videos after the event, provided access through a YouTube Livestream, and provided metrics to the directors the following day.”
The Administrative Faculty of the Month Award recognizes outstanding colleagues who go above and beyond to advance the mission of UNLV. The winning recipient receives a certificate and $150 to recognize their contributions. Nominations for the May award are due by the end of the month.
