Alliance of Professionals of African Heritage will host its 37th annual Awards Ceremony for students of African heritage and 23rd annual African-American Student Graduation Celebration at 7 p.m. on Friday, May 12 in the Student Union ballroom.

The focus of this event is to celebrate academic excellence and acknowledge the dedication, perseverance, and commitment to higher education; recognize outstanding academic and leadership achievements with the Roosevelt Fitzgerald Outstanding Leadership and Thomas Wilson Community Service awards; and African-Heritage graduates receiving degrees from UNLV.
