Congratulations to Barbara Blue for receiving the Administrative Faculty of the Month Award for February 2022. She is the events and tours coordinator for undergraduate admissions at UNLV. Her nominator wrote:

“Barbara began working in Admissions in January of 2021. Despite short staffing and limited resources during the pandemic, she kept tours for prospective students running, added additional tours to accommodate the needs of families, and created a brand new program from the ground up called UNLV Bound. UNLV Bound was especially important because it was the first opportunity for incoming students and their families to be on campus, meet in person with advisors and other offices, and experience in-person campus tours.”

The Administrative Faculty of the Month award recognizes outstanding colleagues who go above and beyond in their duties in advancing the mission and goals of UNLV. Each month, the Administrative Faculty Committee presents the winning recipient with an Administrative Faculty of the Month certificate and a monetary award for $125. Nominations are due by the end of each month.
