The Department of Theatre in the College of Fine Arts offers programs in performance, production and technology taught by experienced faculty, while taking advantage of the entertainment richness of Las Vegas.
Co-presented by philanthropist Susan N. Houston, the College of Fine Arts hosts the free annual Art Walk to honor the Las Vegas community for its dedicated support of the arts and culture in Southern Nevada.

The first debate between the Gov. Steve Sisolak, a Democrat, and his Republican opponent, Clark County Sheriff Joe Lombardo, is set for Oct. 18. The second, between Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto, a Democrat, and her Republican opponent, former attorney general Adam Laxalt, is scheduled for Oct. 20. Miss Nevada and Miss Nevada's Outstanding Teen 2022 crowned at Bally's Lake Tahoe
On Friday, July 1, 22-year-old Heather Renner was crowned the 72nd Miss Nevada. She was born and raised in Reno and is currently studying at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas majoring in theater and double minoring in political science and vocal performance.
