The No. 25 UNLV track & field team’s 4x100m relay team punched their ticket to the NCAA Outdoor Championships on the third and final day of the 2017 NCAA West Preliminary at the University of Texas’ Mike A. Myers Stadium. With the conclusion of the regional meet, the Rebels will send Kaysee Pilgrim (high jump), Destiny Smith-Barnett (100m) and the 4x100m relay team to Eugene, Oregon, for the NCAA Outdoor Championships in two weeks (June 7-10).

After completing the first round on Saturday morning at 5-under-par 283 (play was suspended Friday), the No. 16 UNLV men's golf team fired a second-round 9-under 279 to take the lead at the 2017 NCAA Division I Men's Golf Championships at Rich Harvest Farms.

Afternoon weather delays forced the suspension of Friday's first round at the 2017 NCAA Division I Men's Golf Championships at Rich Harvest Farms. The two delays, totaling three hours and one minute, resulted in half the field being unable to complete their opening round.

UNLV track & field's Kaysee Pilgrim and Destiny Smith-Barnett had strong showings on the second day of the 2017 NCAA Outdoor West Preliminary Championships at the University of Texas at Mike A. Myers Stadium. Both Rebels advanced in their respective events to the NCAA's national meet, as Pilgrim did so in the high jump and Smith-Barnett in the 100m.

The No. 25 UNLV track & field program watched four of its own participate on the first day of the 2017 NCAA West Preliminary in Austin at the University of Texas at Mike A. Myers Stadium. Destiny Smith-Barnett led the Rebel contingent with a time of 11.06 in the 100m, which was the sixth best clocked in the event. By virtue of finishing first in her heat, Smith-Barnett automatically advanced to Friday's 100m quarterfinals.

The UNLV baseball program had three of its own earn Mountain West recognition following the conclusion of its 2017 campaign. The MW's seven head coaches selected Ernie De La Trinidad and Justin Jones to the All-Conference Second Team, while Bryson Stott claimed a share of the Freshman of the Year award with Fresno State's Carter Bins.

The No. 16 UNLV men's golf team won its NCAA Regional in West Lafayette, Ind., earlier this month to advance to the 2017 NCAA Division I Men's Golf Championship, which will be held May 26-31 at Rich Harvest Farms in Sugar Grove, Ill. The championship is being hosted by Northern Illinois University. This year's NCAA Championship will mark UNLV's 20th appearance at the event in the last 29 years and will be the Rebels' second trip in the last three seasons. Five teams from each of six regionals advanced to this year's NCAA Championship, which features 30 of the nation's best teams. In addition, the top individual finisher from each regional that wasn't on an advancing team will compete at the finals.

UNLV senior Carol Yang saw her collegiate career come to an end Wednesday as she fell in the first round of the 2017 NCAA Division I Women’s Tennis Singles Championship being played in Athens, Georgia.

The UNLV baseball team concluded the 2017 campaign with a 10-6 loss to the San Jose State Spartans in Mountain West play at Earl E. Wilson Stadium Saturday afternoon. The Rebels fell behind by six through 3.5 frames of action and were unable to get any closer than four runs – the final margin of victory – to the Spartans in the contest.

The UNLV baseball team scored early and often in its 12-4, come-from-behind win over the San Jose State Spartans in Mountain West play at Earl E. Wilson Stadium Friday evening. The Rebels (20-35, 10-29 MW) overcame an early two-run deficit with help from three runs apiece from Nick Ames, Cooper Esmay and Ernie De La Trinidad as well as four RBI off a perfect 4-for-4 performance at the plate by Justin Jones.

The UNLV baseball program will conduct five camps this summer between June and August at Earl E. Wilson Stadium. The first four camps are dedicated to youth between the ages of five and 13 while the fifth and final edition is a showcase camp for high school and junior college student-athletes.

The UNLV baseball team suffered a 7-4 loss to the San Jose State Spartans in the opener of their Mountain West series at Earl E. Wilson Stadium Thursday night. The Rebels and Spartans played a seesaw affair that saw the two squads exchange the lead four times in a span of four innings, the last of which occurred in a three-run eighth by the visitors from the Bay Area.

Seven individual members and two relay squads from the No. 25 UNLV track & field team have qualified for the 2017 NCAA Women's Outdoor Championships next week in Austin, Texas. The Rebel participants will head to the University of Texas' Mike A. Myers Stadium for the three-day meet that will run May 25-27.

For the first time in 12 years, the surging UNLV men's golf team has won a NCAA Regional. The No. 17 Rebels shot a final-round 11-over-par 299 on Wednesday at the West Lafayette Regional in windy conditions to capture their first regional championship since 2005 and fifth in program history. The tournament was played at Kampen Golf Course (par 72, 7,4111 yards).

The UNLV baseball team returns to Las Vegas and Earl E. Wilson Stadium for its final three games of the regular season against the San Jose State Spartans. The Mountain West series begins Thursday evening and will run through Saturday afternoon.
