UNLV volleyball will conduct eight camps specialized for either individual and/or team instruction between June and July. Five of the camps are dedicated to high-school aged participants (9th-12th grade) while there are two for those in junior high (6th-8th) and one for those in grade school (3rd-6th).
UNLV had a total of 40 student-athletes named to the Fall 2016 Academic All-Mountain West Team, the league announced. The Rebels have boasted at least 34 representatives on the fall list for 11 consecutive years.

The UNLV Rebel men are off to this week's 2017 WAC Swimming and Diving Championships, which will run from Wednesday, Feb. 22-Saturday, Feb. 25 in Houston, Texas at the CRWC Natatorium on the campus of the University of Houston. Preliminaries will begin at 10:30 am (CT) all four days while the night finals will have a 6:00 pm (CT) start beginning on Wednesday.

The UNLV baseball team lost both games of its doubleheader Sunday on the third and final day of the UNLV Classic at Earl E. Wilson Stadium. The Rebels (1-2) opened the day with an 8-3 loss to the UC Davis (1-1) before the Omaha Mavericks (1-2) bested the hosts 8-2.

The Rebel baseball team opened the 2017 season in grand fashion with a 20-3 victory over the Omaha Mavericks in the UNLV Classic Friday evening at Earl E. Wilson Stadium. UNLV overwhelmed the Mavericks early with an offensive onslaught that featured 10 runs off of nine hits through the first two innings. In all, the Scarlet & Gray scattered 21 hits that, in turn, produced 20 runs -- 19 of which were batted in.
