The UNLV Chamber Music Society welcomes the Takács Quartet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26, in the Rando-Grillot Recital Hall of the Beam Music Center. Now entering its 44th season, the quartet is renowned for the vitality of its interpretations. Based in Boulder at the University of Colorado, Edward Dusinberre and Harumi Rhodes (violins), Geraldine Walther (viola), and András Fejér (cello) perform 80 concerts a year worldwide.

Parking

UNLV Performing Arts Center patrons are welcome to park in the Cottage Grove Parking Garage. Parking is free after 7 p.m. Monday - Thursday, after 1 p.m. Friday, and all weekend.

Tickets

Tickets to the Takács Quartet are $30 and can be purchased online or by calling at the Performing Arts Center box office at 702-895-ARTS (2787). Student rush tickets are $5 each and available one hour prior to each event with valid student I.D. UNLV faculty and staff discounts also are available. The box office is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. About the PAC

The UNLV Performing Arts Center is Southern Nevada's first home for the arts. It opened in 1976 and celebrates its 43rd season this year. It hosts a variety of performances and events and is home to productions presented by the Nevada Conservatory Theatre, UNLV School of Music, UNLV Dance, Desert Chorale, and the Southern Nevada Musical Arts Society. The UNLV PAC also is pleased to host various Clark County School District fine arts festivals and concerts.
