Nicole Espinosa (Interdisciplinary, Gender, and Ethnic Studies) presented her McNair poster, " #ClexaEdit: Deconstruction of the Tragic Bi/Lesbian Trope," at the National Women's Studies Conference "Just Imagine, Imagining Justice" in November. The undergraduate student's work with Erika Abad (Interdisciplinary, Gender, and Ethnic Studies) set the foundation for GSS 490/690 "Hashtags, Fandoms, and Social Movements."
At the same conference, Abad presented "The Pulse of Terror - The Queer Rican 'White' to be Angry," as part of "Dancing, Grieving, and Re-placing Memory in/for the Future."
