Working Remotely: Dealing with Stress and Anxiety

Even though we're working remotely right now, the Faculty Center is here to support you. If you are feeling stressed, anxious, or overwhelmed, there are resources that can help.

Heather Dahl -- an assistant professor with the department of Counselor Education, School Psychology, and Human Services at UNLV -- offered strategies and resources to help combat stress symptoms displayed by children and adults in this piece from UNLV News Center.

Heather suggests the following resources:

  • The Vegas Stronger Resiliency Center has a page dedicated to COVID-19 mental health resources
  • 7 Cups is "The World's Largest Emotional Support System" and has free 24/7 chat as well as affordable online therapy
  • Mood Lifters offers online emotional and peer support services.
