THE WHITE HOUSE OFFICE OF MANAGEMENT AND BUDGET, UNLV GREENSPUN COLLEGE OF URBAN AFFAIRS PARTNER TO PROVIDE PAID SUMMER INTERNSHIPS STARTING JUNE 2019

Applications now open for graduate students in the Greenspun College of Urban Affairs; internships to focus on the integration of policymaking, finance, effective communication

LAS VEGAS – April 11, 2019 – The White House Office of Management and Budget (OMB) has partnered with the UNLV Greenspun College of Urban Affairs to provide paid summer internships in Washington D.C. for graduate students starting this summer.

The internships will focus on policymaking, finance, and communication strategies. Applications are due April 14, 2019 and are available online at:  https://www.usajobs.gov/GetJob/ViewDetails/529548200

OMB representatives will be at UNLV Thursday, April 11 and Friday, April 12 to discuss the internship opportunities and application process. The information sessions are open to all graduate students at UNLV and will be held during the following dates and times:

  • Thursday, April 11: 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the third floor in the School of Public Policy and Leadership's main office at the Greenspun College of Urban Affairs, 4505 S. Maryland Parkway, Las Vegas, NV 89154
  • Thursday, April 11: 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the UNLV Office of Online Education Building, 4292 S. Maryland Parkway, Las Vegas, NV 89119
  • Friday, April 12: 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the fifth floor in the conference room 5163 at the Greenspun College of Urban Affairs, 4505 S. Maryland Parkway, Las Vegas, NV 89154
  • Friday, April 12: 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. on the on the third floor in the conference room 3107 at the Greenspun College of Urban Affairs, 4505 S. Maryland Parkway, Las Vegas, NV 89154
