UNLV SOA to be a Partner of CarbonPositive RESET!
Through the distinguished participation of Professor Alfredo Fernandez-Gonzalez, the UNLV School of Architecture is the only academic institution in the world to be a partner, along with the American Institute of Architects and 15 of the top global architecture firms, in the organization of CarbonPositive RESET!, a global teach-in that will showcase the most effective building materials, construction methods, design tools, architecture and planning strategies and policies to dramatically and rapidly reduce the embodied and operational carbon emissions of buildings.
Professor Fernandez-Gonzalez stated that “there has never been a greater urgency for climate action. I am really proud to have been distinguished with an invitation to participate in this transformational global teach-in organized by Architecture 2030.”
