UNLV DMA voice student to make his debut with Opéra national de Paris
UNLV DMA voice student Aaron Pendleton, bass, is preparing to make his debut with the Paris Opera (Opéra national de Paris) in the company's opening concert September 16th!
The first concert of the season is an opportunity for the public to meet the new artists-in-residency at the Academy: singers, pianists, and musicians. The program includes a partially-staged production with sequences from Don Giovanni, the Magic Flute, and Cosi fan Tutte, in which Aaron sings the part of Don Alfonso.
Aaron successfully auditioned for the Opéra's Artist-in-Residence program in November 2019. He is currently living in Paris, where he plans to remain, he says, "at least" for the two-year duration of his contract with the Opera. Aaron is a member of Dr. Alfonse Anderson's voice studio, and he is continuing his studies at UNLV as he lives abroad. Congratulations, Aaron!
