Undergraduate Researchers Awarded Grants

Teaching and Learning undergraduate students Colleen Narayan and Fae Ung were each awarded a $1,500 grant by the Office of Undergraduate Research’s 2021 Undergraduate Research Stimulus Program. Dr. Harsha Perera (Educational Psychology and Higher Education) will serve as their research mentor as they explore the “Development and Validation of the Inventory of Motivation in Teachers.”

Kendra Beach and Chanelle Salomon (both from Teaching and Learning), as well as Lauren Patterson (Counselor Education, School Psychology, and Human Services) each received a $1,000 award from the Office of Undergraduate Research Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship. They will present their research at the Fall 2021 Virtual Undergraduate Research Symposium and may be published in the Spectra Undergraduate Research Journal.
