UMC COVID-19 testing moving from Thomas & Mack to Stan Fulton Building
UMC's COVID-19 testing site inside the Thomas & Mack Center’s Strip View Pavilion will move to the Stan Fulton (International Gaming Institute) Building. The last day of testing at Thomas & Mack is Tuesday, Nov. 24. Testing will resume in Stan Fulton beginning Monday, Nov. 30.
Testing hours at the new location will be 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday through Thursday. Driving directions to Stan Fulton are available online. Testing will take place in the ballroom on the first floor.
Individuals are encouraged to schedule appointments through UMC’s website:
- From UMC’s home page, click on the “UMC COVID-19 Testing Center” banner, then select the “Public” option from the drop-down menu and choose the proper testing location.
- Those without online access or limited access can call UMC at 702-383-2619 to schedule appointments.
The site has separate areas to accommodate those who arrive with and without symptoms. While appointments are urged, a walk-up testing station will serve those who arrive on a first-come, first-served basis without appointments based on available supplies and staffing.
Face coverings, social distancing, temperature checks, and symptom screenings will be required for all visitors entering the facility.
Additional testing locations can be found on the Nevada Health Response website or the Southern Nevada Health District website.
Clark County and UMC are operating the site at UNLV in partnership with the Nevada National Guard and University Police Services. Questions regarding test results and availability should be directed to UMC at 702-383-2619.
