Two Liberal Arts Professors to Receive Barrick Scholar Awards

Two liberal arts professors will receive UNLV Barrick Scholar Awards in April for producing significant interdisciplinary research or creative activity. Evelyn Gajowski, professor of English and renowned Shakespeare expert, will receive a Barrick Distinguished Scholar Award. She has published four books and serves as the series editor of the Arden Shakespeare and Theory Series. Alyssa Crittenden, associate professor of anthropology, will receive a Barrick Scholar Award for her widely published research on human evolution and the diet and sleep patterns of the Hazda hunter-gatherers of Tanzania. Read more about the Barrick winners here
