Two College of Engineering Grads Selected as UNLV Outstanding Graduates
Each semester the president honors a select group of outstanding graduates who exemplify the academic, research and community impact of the graduating class. While engineering and computer science are often represented within the group, this semester two of the nine students selected were from the Howard R. Hughes College of Engineering.
Carter Chiu, graduating with his Ph.D. in computer science with a 4.0 GPA, was the youngest-ever Ph.D. student, and is a published researcher, a mentor and intructor.
Dylan Wallace is graduating with both a B.S. in electrical engineering and a minor in computer science. A member of the Honors College, he has already conducted research in robotics and will be pursuing a Ph.D. in that field at the University of Michigan.

Congratulations to all of this semester's graduates!
