Three Liberal Arts Professors Receive Faculty Opportunity Awards
Congratulations to three Liberal Arts professors who received UNLV Faculty Opportunity Awards in June. Psychology professor Jefferson Kinney, Associate Dean for Students and English professor Denise Tillery, and assistant English professor Kaitlin Clinnin received the awards to continue their collaborative research and creative activity.
The liberal arts proposals were chosen by the Office of the Vice President for Research and Economic Development from 41 proposals submitted campuswide. Nineteen proposals received funding totaling approximately $332,270.

Collaborative Interdisciplinary Research Awards
The Collaborative Interdisciplinary Research Awards fund up to $20,000 apiece for research that could lead to large federal grant applications.

Collaborative Interdisciplinary Scholarship and Creative Activity Awards
The Collaborative Interdisciplinary Scholarship and Creative Activity Awards fund up to $10,000 apiece for standalone research endeavors.
