A Season of Change - Message from Dean Nancy J. Uscher
Sep. 23, 2020
Dear Friends,
Greetings to all of you! This fall we have much to celebrate, even in these challenging times. As we navigate through life during the Covid-19 pandemic, I am delighted to share with you an overview of the kinds of events the College of Fine Arts will be offering this fall. This is but a sample of the rich and innovative variety of projects we are excited about bringing to our community. There are other events that you will be hearing about as well, and dates are still being confirmed for some of the happenings in this fall lineup, but we are on our way!
We feel strongly that the arts should be an essential part of the human experience and our mission underscores our aspiration to empower our wonderful students. Our mission, "to boldly launch visionaries who transform the global community through collaboration, scholarship, and innovation" provides the blueprint for the ways in which our students will make a difference in this world.
We hope to see you over the next few months. Some events are on campus and some are virtual. For updated information please visit our social media, as we update it by the moment. We are also continuing the YouTube UNLV Arts Worldwide series (we are up to episode 20!) a couple of Monday evenings a month.
Wishing all of you so well and we look forward to staying in touch.
Warm wishes,
Nancy J. Uscher
