Timely Warning - March 9, 2018
In compliance with the "Timely Warning" provisions of the Federal Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security and Campus Crime Statistics Act of 1998, University Police Services is providing the following notice and reminds students, faculty, and staff to remain vigilant at all times.
On Friday, March 9, between the hours of 2 a.m. and 10 a.m., 16 Apple iMac computers were stolen from a computer lab in Thomas Beam Engineering Building B after it was locked. UNLV Police Services recommends the following steps in regards to securing campus facilities and property:
- Secure and lock all room doors upon exit.
- Be aware and take notice of persons wandering through buildings.
- Contact Police Services immediately if anyone is seen acting suspiciously and inappropriately on campus.
