Paraprofessional Pathways Project

Jul. 16, 2021

Are you a classroom aide or paraprofessional in a Southern Nevada public school? You are a vital contributor to education and, thanks to the Paraprofessional Pathway Project, making the transition to a full-time teaching career can take as little as one year! You may even qualify to be reimbursed for your costs.

If you’ve obtained an associate’s degree or completed 60 credits of college-level general education courses, we’ll put you on a fast track to your bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, special education, or elementary education. You'll have in-person, hybrid, and online class options -- some live and some on your own schedule. Some courses may be completed in 6-8 weeks.

We recognize that you already have experience in the classroom, so we’ll give you student teaching credit for just continuing in your current job.
