Our Jam-Packed Fall Semester
The Intersection is excited to present a host of informative yet entertaining events to keep students, faculty, and staff engaged in the fall semester. Here are a few of our events:
The Professors' Circle: Join us for a monthly engagement series that encourages discussions between first generation, new and junior faculty on the intersections of university life. Enjoy hot coffee and pastries while you discuss academic and career interests, and consider the many possibilities for collaboration on interdisciplinary research. This is an excellent opportunity for faculty to network, enhance staff development and build a shared sense of community at UNLV. We are pleased to announce that our 2nd Professors' Circle is taking place on October 2nd from 10am to 11:30am at the Intersection.
Woke Wednesdays: A series that will focus on different topics that will provide important information and strategies to help students navigate through college and graduate. This includes topics such as wellness & self-care, how to survive college life, and much more! Join us at our next one, October 9th, from 10am to 12pm at the Intersection.
Financial Fridays: A series that will provide important tools to assist students in effectively managing their finances. This includes topics such as budgeting, scholarship and financial aid recovery, and much more! Join us at our next one, October 18th, from 1pm to 2pm at the Intersection.
There are plenty of more events to come! Follow us on social media to gain all the important updates. As always, don't be afraid to stop by the Intersection.
