OSP Creates New “Limited Submission” Programs Website

Feb. 26, 2015

The Office of Sponsored Programs has created a new website on limited submissions programs that offer a variety of grants, summer stipends, awards, and fellowships.

The site is located at:  https://www.unlv.edu/research/proposal-development/limited-submissions.

In limited submission programs, the sponsor restricts the number of applications or proposals an institution can submit to the agency. The guidelines for these programs require institutions to screen proposals internally (generally through the submission of pre-proposals) to determine which applications will be submitted for competition.

The site was created to provide faculty with information about limited submission opportunities and the process used to indicate institutional interest in applying for them. Listed are the currently active notifications from OSP, as well as closed and frequently recurring opportunities. (Closed opportunities are included for informational purposes to provide faculty with perspective on the nature and process of the opportunity in the event it is offered again in the future.)

For more information about limited submission opportunities, contact Proposal Development Manager Carol Brodie at carol.brodie@unlv.edu or at 702-895-1328.
