NSHE Export Control and Economic Sanctions Policy Approved

Mar. 3, 2016

The Nevada System of Higher Education recently approved a new systemwide Export Control and Economic Sanctions Policy. This policy will provide direction to UNLV’s Export Control Office as it continues to develop guidelines and procedures to address the export of proprietary, confidential or restricted items; certain sensitive information and services; and certain software, as well as interactions with embargoed or sanctioned countries, organizations, and individuals.

UNLV's Export Control Office will be collaborating with campus departments, faculty, and students impacted by export controls to assess potential risk areas and to gather input as it develops appropriate guidelines and procedures consistent with federal regulations and the new NSHE Policy.
