Message to students: New adjustments to operations and courses
We are reaching out with further adjustments to university operations and courses. In line with directives from Nevada Gov. Steve Sisolak and Nevada System of Higher Education Chancellor Melody Rose, UNLV is implementing the measures below.
Building closures beginning at 5 p.m. today through Sunday, Jan. 10:
- Student Recreation Center
- Student Union
Health services will continue to be offered by appointment only through the Student Health Center. Mental health services continue to be offered through Student Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS).
Building closures (now beginning) at 5 p.m. Monday, Dec. 14, through Sunday, Jan. 10:
- University Libraries
- Computer labs
We are directing employees who can work remotely to do so, therefore, in-person services may shift to remote delivery.
Additionally, UNLV is currently evaluating all in-person classes to ensure room capacity is at or below 25%. Individual instructors will contact you directly if there are any changes to your in-person courses through the end of the semester.
Any adjustments in health science programs, including the schools of Medicine, Dental Medicine, Nursing and Integrated Health Sciences, will come directly from deans.
Every faculty and staff member is dedicated to your success, to your safety and your wellbeing. Thank you for your flexibility, patience and persistence as we near the end of the semester.
