LSAMP Applications Open for UNLV Students

The Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (LSAMP) is a federal program funded through the National Science Foundation (NSF). The benefits of LSAMP Membership include:

  • Textbook-loan library and other academic materials
  • Opprtunities to attend special STEM events, such as visits to lab and other research sites both on and off-campus
  • Priority access to academic support for your classes
  • Mentoring from high-achieving UNLV STEM junior and seniors
  • Opportunities to earn stipends for participation in peer mentoring and undergraduate research (once a junior)

Students who meet the eligibility requirements are encouraged to apply. To apply, please complete and sign the attached application and e-mail a scanned copy of the application form to or deliver the applications to SSC-A, room 301 at UNLV. You can also learn more about LSAMP on their website
