Las Vegas, NV - The Klai Juba Lecture Series welcomes Dan Sesil, partner at Leslie E. Robertson & Associates (LERA), on Sept. 9 in the downtown 5th Street School. The lecture, "The Structure of Things," begins at 6pm, and is preceded by a reception at 5:30pm. It is free and open to the public. All lectures are hosted by the UNLV Downtown Design Center.
Sesil has managed the structural design of many of LERA’s landmark projects since joining the firm in 1983. Currently working on structures on the campuses of York College, MassArt, SUNY Downstate, and the Columbia University and New York University Medical Centers, Sesil also has lead numerous museum projects, including the William Jefferson Clinton Presidential Center in Little Rock, AR; the National Museum of American Jewish History in Philadelphia, PA; and the Newseum and Freedom Forum in Washington, D.C. He is a member of LERA’s Forensic Engineering and Expert Witness Team, and is an adjunct assistant professor at the Columbia University School of Architecture.
A graduate of Marquette University, Sesil also holds a Master of Civil Engineering from Purdue University.
