NEW General Editor of Oxford University Studies in the Enlightenment

We are delighted to announce that Professor Gregory S. Brown, of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, will succeed Professor Jonathan Mallinson as General Editor of Oxford University Studies in the Enlightenment, from January 2016. He will continue broadening the temporal and geographic scope of the series to the broader world of Enlightenment culture, including such areas as southern and eastern Europe, Hispaniphone, and environmental studies

2015 is the sixtieth anniversary of the series founded by Theodore Besterman as the Studies on Voltaire and the Eighteenth Century. In future, we need to maintain the series’ traditional strengths of high-quality author care and intellectual rigour whilst exploring digital models of scholarly communication and dissemination. Greg Brownwill play a key role in positioning Oxford University Studies in the Enlightenment to meet these exciting intellectual challenges.
