Graduate College to Celebrate Grad Rebel Appreciation Week March 29-April 5

Feb. 7, 2019

The Graduate College will celebrate graduate and professional students during Grad Rebel Appreciation Week, to be held March 29-April 5. The National Association of Graduate-Professional Students started Graduate and Professional Student Appreciation Week in 1993 as a way to support and recognize graduate and professional students.

Beginning March 29, the Graduate College will celebrate the incredible contribution that graduate and professional students make to the mission of UNLV through their efforts in research, service, and teaching. Please find details about Grad Rebel Appreciation Week activities below:

Social Media Contest

Between March 29 and April 5, tell the world on social media why you love graduate school using only six words to be entered into the social media contest. Make sure to tag UNLVGradCollege on Facebook or @mention UNLV_GC on Twitter. Two prizes will be awarded -- one to a student at random, and one to the student whose social media post receives the most likes. The random drawing winner must be present at the April 5 Grad Rebel Appreciation Week Celebration (above) to win. The student with the most likes does not need to be present to win.
