Frances Hampton from Class of 2019 Guest Speaks on Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth & Power On

Sep. 30, 2019

Frances Hampton is a recent NEW Leadership Nevada Alum. She currently attends Nevada State College as a Psychology and Communication Major with Minors in Business administration and Sociology. We are excited to see her embrace opportunities to amplify her voice after experiencing the program 4 months ago. Frances states, "Because of NEW Leadership Nevada, I was able to conquer some of my fears and speak on higher platforms. That week I was a guest panelist for Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth and Power On, and then Omar from AT&T Believe Las Vegas reached out to me and asked if I could be a guest speaker. I brought the house down and got everybody pumped. I jumped on a plane a few hours after that speech and went to Hawaii to speak for the Salvation Army: Women's Way on behalf of women with children in recovery who are graduating. It was just a speaking extravaganza!"

Frances is also serving as the new President this semester for the PSI CHI International Honor Society in Psychology. We look forward to seeing Frances continues to shape the world around her with truth, passion, and knowledge.
