Dr. Kimberly Barchard was recently named a Fellow of the Western Psychological Association. From the announcement: Dr. Barchard has approximately three dozen publications including articles in very highly regarded journals, developed a number of inventories, and presented hundreds of papers. Her research has contributed significantly to the field of psychometrics. She has received two of the highest teaching awards from UNLV, mentored numerous undergraduate and graduate students in her lab, substantively contributed to the creation of online classroom materials, and promoted excellence in teaching through the publication of teaching resources and articles on innovations in teaching. Finally, Dr. Barchard has provided invaluable service as the series editor for Methods in Emotion Research, a reviewer for many journals, and in various capacities as a member of the WPA Executive Board for over 10 years.
