CSN Henderson: 24/7 Patrols & Emergency Contact
Beginning October 21, University Police Services will begin providing 24/7 service to the CSN Henderson campus, the Green Valley Tech Center, and the Water Street Centers, including dispatch services via UPD’s Dispatch Center. This change will provide improved response times for police, fire, and medical services while also continuing to provide calls for service for campus security and after hour emergency requests for Facilities Management.
In the event of an emergency or to report a crime in progress, you may reach the Dispatch Center by:
Dialing (702) 895-3669 from any campus landline or cellphone.
Dialing x7911 from any campus telephone
Activating any blue light or elevator phone
For non-emergency calls:
Dialing (702) 895-3668 from any cellphone
Dialing x7311 from any campus telephone
We recommend saving these numbers to your phones now. **Calls placed to 9-1-1 / 3-1-1 will be transferred from the Henderson Police Department directly to the University Police Services' Dispatch Center.
Additionally, University Police Services will also begin to provide increased patrols of these properties. You will notice a police presence due to the increase in vehicle patrol coverage and targeted foot patrols. These activities will have a positive impact for our campus communities, providing more opportunities for one-on-one engagement with our police officers and helping to create and foster trust between our students, staff, faculty, and visitors.
These personal interactions along with officer visibility to improve public confidence in our police, perceptions of crime, and feelings of safety, as well as, reducing crime when implemented alongside our community partnership and assist each other in problem-solving solutions. Our campus communities play a large role in campus safety, by informing us of any critical issues or crimes that need our attention.
We look forward to this new expansion of police services and availability to our community and ask that you please engage with us as much as we will engage with you.
