"Cracking the Code on STEM: A People Strategy for Nevada’s Economy"

On Wednesday, November 12, Brookings Mountain West, the Brookings Institution Metropolitan Policy Program, and the Nevada STEM Coalition will host a morning forum entitled "Cracking the Code on STEM: A People Strategy for Nevada’s Economy." The event will feature the release of a new report from the Metropolitan Policy Program and Brookings Mountain West that explores how Nevada can promote opportunity and prosperity by expanding its emerging STEM economy through STEM- oriented workforce development and education.  In addition, the forum will include a panel discussion and plenty of time for audience Q&A.

The event will take place on November 12 from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. at The inNEVation Center's Stage 2 (6795 Edmond Street, 3rd floor, Las Vegas, NV 89118). Please note that registration will open at 8:30 a.m. and a light breakfast and refreshments will be provided.
