Campus Reopening Plans
UNLV leadership has stated that a majority of classes for the fall 2020 semester will consist of in-person instruction, although there will be more courses taught remotely than in a typical semester. The first in-person classes will resume with a limited set of courses for Summer Session III, beginning July 13. All College of Liberal Arts summer school courses will be taught remotely.
In-person student services will be introduced in phases, beginning this summer and incorporating social distancing. Please note that UNLV's reopening plans are dynamic and subject to change in accordance with state guidelines and evolving circumstances.

Give to the SAFER Program
The College of Liberal Arts is raising funds for the Student Assistance Funding for Emergency Relief (SAFER) program. Through the program, we are awarding emergency grants to liberal arts students facing hardships due to the COVID-19 pandemic or other life challenges. We want to ensure students don't have to choose between paying for life's necessities and continuing their education. You can support the SAFER program by giving to the College of Liberal Student Relief Fund on our giving page.

COLA Internship Program
The College of Liberal Arts is committed to helping students have rich internship experiences. Students participating in spring 2020 internships should contact Jenna Heath, director of student and community engagement, to discuss alternate ways of completing internships and/or receiving internship credit this semester. Heath can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We will continue assisting students with placement for summer 2020 internships. Rather than hosting an in-person workshop, we will send a recorded video of the session to all students interested in the program. Please sign up to receive the workshop video here.
