COVID-19 and Mathematical Sciences Update

Mar. 20, 2020

Dear UNLV Math Students and Community,

In light of the Covid-19 crisis and the directives issued by the Governor, NSHE Chancellor and UNLV President that all employees are to work remotely immediately, the UNLV Department of Mathematical Sciences office, located in CDC-8, is now closed. The administrative staff will be working remotely and are still able to provide assistance via phone and email.

Because of the campus and department closures, the Math Tutoring Clinic is closed until further notice. For those students currently enrolled in Math 95 – 182 classes who have questions on their coursework, please contact your instructor for assistance.

The university will resume classes remotely/online the week of March 23. Your instructor will be in touch with you over WebCampus/Canvas or UNLV email to coordinate the rest of the semester and give you information on exactly how you will access your course information, quizzes, exams, etc.

We thank you for your patience and understanding during this difficult time.

Sincerely,

UNLV Department of Mathematical Sciences
