Call UNLV's 9-1-1 Service for On-campus Emergencies

Call UNLV's 9-1-1 telephone service in the event of an emergency on campus

In the event of an emergency, students, faculty, and staff have a quick and efficient means for communication with the UNLV Department of Police Services. By dialing 9-1-1 on any campus landline, or 702-895-3669 from your cellphone, you will be put in contact with the UNLV Police Communications Dispatch Center on campus. This direct connection between UNLV landlines and the university's emergency police dispatchers significantly reduces the amount of time necessary for police and emergency responders to be sent to your location. It should be noted that anyone dialing 9-1-1 from a cellphone will connect directly with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, and their police dispatchers will then connect these calls to the UNLV Police. Remember, 9-1-1 is an emergency number and should only be used in the case of an immediate emergency or crime in progress. All other calls for non-emergency police assistance should be made by dialing either 3-1-1 or 702-895-3668.
