Carol Brodie, the new Proposal Development Manager in the Office of Sponsored Programs, will be preparing a bi-weekly funding notice that will be e-mailed to any interested faculty.
Below is a sample of the type and format of funding opportunities that will be contained in the e-newsletter. The disciplines will vary, ranging from the humanities to biomedical sciences, and will depend greatly on the faculty who sign up to receive these notices and the opportunities currently available.

This Award supports the development of innovative, high-risk/high-reward research that could lead to critical discoveries or major advancements that will accelerate progress in improving outcomes for individuals with autism. The Award seeks multidisciplinary applications from all areas of basic and preclinical research, and strongly encourages applications in the following areas: Assessment of novel therapeutics using valid preclinical models; Environmental risk factors; Mechanisms of heterogeneous clinical expression or response to treatment of ASD, excluding new gene discovery; Mechanisms underlying conditions co-occurring with ASD; Psychosocial factors promoting success in key transitions to independence for individuals living with ASD
