Announcing Rebel Reset
We all know that 2020 was a challenging year. Now, the widespread availability of vaccines has brought a sense of optimism in dealing with the pandemic. We’re about to embark on a better normal and will work to make our campus come alive as we prepare for the fall semester. While this is an exciting time, it is also an uncertain time, which can provoke anxiety for some.
During this transition, it’s important that we prioritize our personal wellness. To help support faculty and staff, Human Resources is pleased to announce Rebel Reset, a menu of no-cost programming based around three pillars of wellness: physical, emotional, and financial. Rebel Reset will be offered from July through December 2021, and is open to full-time and part-time employees.
Programming highlights include chair massages, mind-body medicine meditation seminars, trauma recovery yoga classes, Health Meets Food cooking classes, informative sessions with registered nutritionists, childcare and grocery grants, and more. Visit the Rebel Reset website for more details and registration information. Be sure to check the webpage frequently as new programs will be added throughout the rest of the calendar year.
We’d like to thank our campus partners including the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV, the Division of Educational Outreach, and the Department of Kinesiology and Nutritional Sciences. Their support and expertise have enabled us to create a well-rounded program that will benefit our most valuable resource - our employees.
We encourage each and every one of you to participate in as many offerings as possible. When we bring our best selves to work, we are happier and better prepared to support student success.
If you have a programming idea, we would love to hear from you. Submit your suggestions to email@example.com.
I look forward to seeing you soon!
