2020 Contender Challenge Winners Announced

Oct. 15, 2020

Every year teams compete in Lee Business School's week-long Contender Challenge for bragging rights, glory, prizes, and the chance to have their team banner hung proudly in the courtyard of Beam Hall. This year -- the 10th anniversary of the challenge -- looked a little different, but this year’s competitors persisted. The Contender Challenge is an Apprentice-like competition open to teams representing UNLV student organizations.

Teams compete in various unique real-life business challenges allowing them to demonstrate their entrepreneurial strength by applying leadership, teamwork, management, and marketing abilities. Teams are judged in The Boardroom on problem-solving, creativity, feasibility, thoroughness, and presentation as well as on results.
