2017 Three Corners Conference is Almost Here!

The 2017 Three Corners Conference will be held on Saturday October 21, 2017 in Wright Hall, Room C148 from 9am – 4pm. The conference is open to the public and free of charge.


The Three Corners Conference focuses on regional archaeology and is dedicated to welcoming all people interested in a wide range of archaeological research topics. Presentations will be given by local archaeologists, museum professionals, and UNLV Anthropology professors and students.


Presentation topics include hunting and gathering strategies, plant processing, artifact creation and use, and group interactions in the past. Archaeological resource management and museum curation topics will also be discussed.
