2016 Calvert Undergraduate Research Award Winners Announced

Three UNLV undergraduates received the UNLV University Libraries' annual Lance and Elena Calvert Undergraduate Research Award, endowed by Lance and Elena Calvert to recognize sophisticated research and critical thinking skills. Winners received prize money, recognition at a reception on May 5, and publication of their work in Digital [email protected].

History major Daniel Waqar won the 2016 Calvert Undergraduate Research Award for “Modern Conflict in the Divided City: A History of Violence and Power in Hebron, the Israeli-Occupied West Bank” (Advanced Undergraduate Research Division).
