Description

An overview on the history of aggression, violence and trauma in human groups. Interpersonal and institutional forms of violence are examined from an anthropological perspective. The goal of the course is to explore a number of theoretical frameworks used by anthropologists to understand violence. This course is crosslisted with ANTH 473. Credit at the 600-level requires additional work.
